There is scarcely a topic that draws more stigma across a wide demographic of individuals as that of cannabis use.

Every generation has their own version of the “Witch Hunts”, and when people look back at the history of ours, this will be one of them.

I wasn’t always so supportive of Marijuana.

In fact, there was a day when I believed that people who consumed the plant were lazy and unproductive degenerates who would eventually transition to Crystal Meth and neglect their children.

It’s nothing personal, but as a Healthcare Provider this is what I was tought.

It wasn’t unitl I experienced my own life-changing tradgedy that I began to research cannabis as a viable option for a therapeutic.

After my diagnosis, I began to realize how disenfranchised I actually was. I eventually got to the point that I began to question everything that I had ever been taught. Already ostrocized by society due to a chronic nerve condition, I had nothing else to lose.

I put myself through the THC UniversityYeah, LITERALLY!…

I began to learn about the medicinal properties of cannabinoids and trichomes. I was blown away by what I didn’t know! I had it totally backwards my entire life! I learned the difference between CBD, CBG, THC, THCa, THCv, and the best way to achieve my goals in the cannabis industry. I became a Certified Budtender and eventually achieved recognition as an Expert Cannabis Consultant. I began to realize that this flower was a life-changing miracle!

Today I primarily work with patients on choosing the right strains to manage their condition, and I work with growers to increase their yield and eliminate mites, mold, and mildew organically without pesticides and herbicides. We are able to gain an average of 30% increased yield off of plants without chemicals. That is imperative when you’re dealing with Medical Cannabis. Everything has to be “Clean Green”.

Education and advocacy takes up the rest of my focus when it comes to cannabis. I am one of many individuals who has taken a huge risk to advocate for the sensible regulation of cannabis for medical use. And until you’ve taken that step, I wouldn’t be too quick to judge.

I have been asked to leave churches, ostrocized, judged, slandered, and all because I chose to take a stand for the Patient’s right to choose their own medicine. Most people don’t understand the ramifications associated with the use of the cannabis plant.

It can alter your life forever, and everything we have been told about it is a lie.

I made the following video (36m:15s) as an introduction to a series that I will be doing on Medical Cannabis Education.

If you find it valuable, I would appreciate your feedback in the comments section below.

A Brief History of Cannabis Prohibition

It is my dream to see cannabis completely de-regulated so that individuals can grow their own medicine in the peace of their own homes without the constant fear of losing their children, losing their jobs, losing their ability to drive…

It is a serious issue that hits home with a lot of families.

Imagine for a second if you could, you have a six year old beautiful baby girl. She was born with a brain condition that has caused her to develop progressively worsening seizures. The doctors tell you that every seizure causes her to lose functional brain tissue. You learn that there is a plant that can not only stop the seizures but can also help her body and her brain heal.

You talk to your daughter’s doctor about Medical Cannabis and they report you to Social Services who then opens a case on you for child abuse, takes away your kids and puts them into separate  foster care families and forces your daughter to go on harmful pharmaceutical medications that cause her condition to deteriorate and her seizures continue to increase from 50 to 100 to 300 per day. She convulses violently, falls out of chairs, and bites her tongue. Suffocating and dying slowly. And you are helpless. All because you wanted to protect your child.

This is a reality for many parents, and most people will never know.

This is not an exaggeration in the least.

It is not a fabrication.

This is every day life for a family of a child with Dravet’s Syndrome.

This is what we are fighting for.

Compassionate care, natural medicine, and sensible regulation. Nothing more, nothing less.

And we won’t stop until we win!

If this article impacted you then I encourage you to join the fight!

Affiliate Disclosure

Sometimes I use affiliate links. What does that mean? It means that if I’ve used a product or service personally and liked it, and that product or service has an affiliate program, I sign up for it. Then, when I mention that product or service in one of my blog posts, I link to it using my affiliate link.

Should you end up buying something as a result of one of those links, I might get a little jingle for my pocketbook.

If you’ve hung around my sites long or know me well, you know that I would just as soon eat barbed wire or chew broken glass than sell my soul to make money off of you on a product I don’t even like. That would be disingenuous. You know this, I know this. But, alas, the FTC isn’t sure you really know this.

And that is why I wrote this disclosure – to empower everyone to fearlessly make an informed decision before clicking on an affiliate link. There should be no question that if I feel comfortable with a product or service and refer it to you, I don’t mind making a little money for that referral. I hope you would do the same.
